TITLE | Soft Riemann-Hilbert problem for orthogonal polynomials |
ABSTRACT | In the series of seminars, I will explain the method to obtain the universality of edge scaling limits of 2D determinantal Coulomb gas using asymptotic expansions of planar orthogonal polynomials. The method is based on the derivation of the Riemann-Hilbert hierarchy and the construction of an orthogonal foliation flow, which is introduced by Hedenmalm and Wennman. In this talk, I will introduce a soft Riemann-Hilbert problem for orthogonal polynomials, recently studied by Hedenmalm, which gives a simple algebraic framework for the terms of the asymptotic expansion. |
