| TITLE | which nodal quartic threefolds are factorial? |
| ABSTRACT | In this talk, we study the factoriality problem for nodal quartic threefolds in P^4. In particular, we prove that nodal quartic threefolds with at most 8 singular points are always factorial, and irrational. If time permits, I would like to introduce proofs of other cases as well. |
