| ABSTRACT | This is a learning seminar on Batalin-Vilkovisky quantization(with higher category). BV quantization is a powerful tool for quantization by using super geometry and gives a big impact on diverse fields in mathematics. In this semester, we cover the following materials. 1. Brief introduction on quantum field theory(string theory) 2. BV quantization (References: Introduction to graded geometry, BV formalism and their applications by Jian Qiu and Maxim Zabzine, UUITP-14/11, Lectures on BV formalism and its applications in topological quantum field theory by Pavel Mnev arxiv. 1707.08096 and some papers by Kevin Costello and Si Li) 3.
