|TITLE||mod p intersection number and Siegel series|
|ABSTRACT||The Siegel series is the local factor of the Fourier coefficient of the Siegel-Eisenstein series. This is a crucial ingredient to compare it with intersection multiplicities on orthogonal Shimura varieties in Kudla's program.
In this talk, I will explain a conceptual study of the relation between intersection multiplicities and Siegel series. Using this, I will explain a new identity between the intersection number on certain moduli stack over a finite field Fp and the sum of the Fourier coefficients of certain Eisenstein series, which does not depend on p, whereas the intersection multiplicities highly depend on p.
